Not only did I make a lot of great friends, which is always important, but I gained a lot of knowledge. BAS gave me the opportunity to study a huge variety of things, many of which I wouldn’t have considered before, and expanded on my knowledge of my areas of interest as they were. A lot of the subjects have been of use when I least expected them to be! After graduating from BAS, I went to London to do my Masters in International Relations at the London School of Economics. The lessons I learned from this programme were incredibly helpful as I went on to study IR in more depth. The knowledge I gained from the friends I made are definitely things that will continue to be useful in the future.”
